New multi-functional diagnostic and communication tool perfect for fast accurate assessment and adjustment of bicycle derailleur hangers, shifting, braking, frame, and wheel system components.
Our GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool with a traversing parallelogram system threads onto the bicycle axle in place of the 5mm QR nut. The laser is adjusted to cast a precision cross pattern onto the bicycle components for a visual comparative reference that is perpendicular to the axle and in parallel alignment to each other.
An accessory shaft adapter for 12mm thru-shaft is available. Adapters for 15mm and 20mm thru-shafts will be available soon.
“I rotated the chain off the outside of the chain ring exposing the chain ring teeth. I was able to line the GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool up with the chain ring and the chain guard to check for misalignment. I then accurately bent these components back in place with a rotor alignment tool.”
“The GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool can be a great communication tool for demonstrating bicycle condition and needed repairs to the customer.”
“The GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool effectively allows you to determine whether you have a bent derailleur hanger vs a bent derailleur cage (or both). It certainly simplified the task and brought a degree of precision far exceeding my prior efforts.”
“The GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool is perfect for the assessment and demonstration of recommended bicycle service offering the customer true transparency. It also expedites our check-in procedure.”
“While using the GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool I was able to identify the bottom rear derailleur was slightly bent which was not identified by a highly skilled bike mechanic during routine maintenance. When the chain is in the top of the cassette and when the pedals are spun backwards the chain goes from the big ring to the small ring
“While using the GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool I was able to identify the bottom rear derailleur was slightly bent which was not identified by a highly skilled bike mechanic during routine maintenance. When the chain is in the top of the cassette and when the pedals are spun backwards the chain goes from the big ring to the small ring for no reason at all. Using the GREEN CROSS Laser Alignment Tool I found the cause to be the bent rear derailleur. This tool has great promise and capabilities for even the seasoned bike mechanic.”
